Company History
Fred Dorner founded the Dorner Company in 1911. His son, Jack Dorner, was president from 1942 until 1984, at which time John Dorner headed the company from 1984 thru 1999. At the beginning of the year 2000 Dave Dorner became president. The Dorner Family owned and operated the company until 2007 when a group of existing managers purchased the company.

The goal of the new management is to continue to supply the excellent service Dorner Company has been known for.

Field Service: The Dorner Company is a factory authorized service center providing superior service throughout the Midwest. For general service or if you have an emergency, please refer to our website for contact information.

Shop Repair: Dorner Company offers a discounted shop service rate for those customers that can return products to our facility for repair. This also eliminates costly travel & milage charges. Some repairs cant be completed in the field and may be serviced best in our shop. Dorner has the personnel and equipment to handle these difficult problems that require the extra attention it takes to make proper repairs.

Actuator Mounting: We have the experience and capability of mounting actuators on almost any valve, gate or damper. Our years of experience with all types of actuation has made us experts when it comes to mounting and adjusting your valve and actuator.

Testing: Air Seat Tests, Hydrostatic Shell and Seat Tests, and other operational tests can be performed, witnessed and documented to meet your requirements. Our test capabilities include operational tests on all valve and actuator assemblies.

Equipment Start-up: Jobsite start-up and training services are available for all of the equipment we sell.

Field Retrofit: We have the capabilities of automating any existing valve, gate or damper in your plant. We will field engineer, measure and size the proper actuator and accessories for your application. We will supply all brackets and hardware and machining necessary to deliver a completely automated assembly to your site.
